Theaterdramaturgie.Bank is a database on theatre dramaturgy. It contains information on theatre dramaturgy and the profession of the dramaturge, with a focus on Dutch and Flemish theatre. Along with annotated references to literature, the database holds online texts, including a series of interviews with dramaturges, and a series of dossiers in which information concerning theatre-making processes is assembled. These interviews and dossiers were (and are continually) developed for this database. Through this approach, the database not only collects information, but also actively encourages and produces reflection on dramaturgy.
It is a living archive, open to contributions from researchers and practitioners in the field of dramaturgy.
This project is a collaboration between Theatre Studies and the library of Utrecht University.
Theaterdramaturgie-Podium is an email group focusing on dramaturgy, with more than 170 members as of August 2008. The messages shared are mainly in Dutch.
