Each year a different topic is explored. In 2007/2008 the seminars explored theoretical explorations of the concept of 'dispositif' and the program was aimed at comparing dispositifs. In 2008/2009 the seminar focused on performativity and locatedness of media and performance technologies and practices. Presentations by various scholars alternated with discussion of key publications on issues of performativity, locatedness and space, including work by authors like Giuliana Bruno, Judith Butler, Jonathan Culler, Michel de Certeau, Michel Foucault, Dorreen Massey, John McKenzie, Nigel Thrift. |
