RE:MICKERY

Liesbeth is coordinator of the Re:Mickery program taking place during PSi#17 Camillo 2.0 - Memory, Technology, Experience, on Saturday May 28, 2011The Mickery Theatre (1965-1991) was one of the first to introduce international avant-garde performances to a Dutch audience. The Re:Mickery program takes Mickery's innovative work and critical inquiry into space and technology as a starting point for discussing performance today, through a one-day event with talks, short performances, interactive exhibitions and a book presentation.

INTERMEDIALITY IN THEATRE AND PERFORMANCE

Liesbeth is a member of this IFTR working group, members of the group examine theatre and performance in the context of other media from an intermedial perspective. Working from the idea that theatre provides the staging space for intermedial performances, the group examines the proliferation of texts, medial spaces and intermedial relationships created when the live medium of theatre and the performing arts intersect with cinema, television and, in particular, digital technology more>>

 

LECTORAAT THEATRALE MAAKPROCESSEN UTRECHT SCHOOL OF THE ARTS (HKU)

This  Lectoraat initiates and facilitates practice-based research on theatre-making processes.  Liesbeth conducted a series of interviews on theatre-making processes, available through Theaterdramaturgie.Bank. She also contributed several observations/reports on creative processes, which were used and presented at public seminars of the Lectoraat. 

Liesbeth is also a member of the Forum of the research group on scenography. See the Seefishlab blog.
